sobbing echoes
So how will you sum up now
The partly functional dysfunctionality
When the wheels got rusted
And yet we pushed it along
Ignoring the screeching sounds…..
Leaving me to clean up the marks
Caused by the small thorns
You planted here and then
They pain at intervals
Beneath the upper layer….
I tried to knot it hard
But was fooled by the magnitude
As the fabrics got all mixed up
The silk got the worms along
And the cotton got the seeds….
When you mocked the first smile
Of her innocent sleep
She cries at time
For her warmth is pure
And the nursery rhymes are mixed up…
Once again
I am trying very hard
But the labyrinth conceals the door
And I knock on the same walls
Again and again….
Though the sky shows a rainbow
It left out a few colours
And sprinkled the dust
There where I wrote your name
With affection and dejection….
Why did you cry all by yourself
When we could have shared the tears
The sobbing echoes creep at night
Wandering between the closed doors
By morning they fade away….
Blending the rainbow
Without rain.
The partly functional dysfunctionality
When the wheels got rusted
And yet we pushed it along
Ignoring the screeching sounds…..
Leaving me to clean up the marks
Caused by the small thorns
You planted here and then
They pain at intervals
Beneath the upper layer….
