this too shall pass...
For now the storm has subdued
It told me it has lost its strength
The obstacles have changed places
And the pawns have broken down…
The vapours of humidity
Added a few flavours
So now the air is suffocated
More than before…
Yet the winds whistle sharply
And the arms gather themselves
Wrapped in bandages
With the cotton jutting out…
The legs melted with the steam
And the peels lie scattered around
Smelling of flesh
Marinated in soil…
O get up and collect yourself
….for this too shall pass.
It told me it has lost its strength
The obstacles have changed places
And the pawns have broken down…
The vapours of humidity
Added a few flavours
So now the air is suffocated
More than before…
Yet the winds whistle sharply
And the arms gather themselves
Wrapped in bandages
With the cotton jutting out…
The legs melted with the steam
And the peels lie scattered around
Smelling of flesh
Marinated in soil…
O get up and collect yourself
….for this too shall pass.
